How do nematodes work?

Nematodes are the natural enemy of many insect pests and occur naturally in the soil where they look for their larvae and pupae. They then invade their host larvae or pupae and release bacteria from their intestinal tract which multiply, causing the host to become less active and eventually die within 2-3 days. Nematodes are safe for humans, animals and plants.

Nematodes cannot kill adult pest insects.
